Upper Fair Agenda
Time Line: Note - all times are APPROXIMATE and subject to change
8:00a - 9:00a: Student Check-in/Project Set-up and Late Registration. ***NOTE: If you register after
February 2nd, there is a $5 late fee charge (total late registration fee=$30)
9:00a - 9:15a: Welcome Announcements
9:00a - 9:15a: Project Violations Check.
9:15a - 9:20a: Project Violations Fix ***If students have a project violation they have 20min to fix them before they are disqualified (most project violations are easily fixable).
9:30a - 2:00p: Project Judging. ***Parents/Teachers/Support Teams will not be allowed in the judging area with the students unless previously approved by R1SEF Staff. There will be a waiting area available during the judging.
3:00p (Approximately): Awards Ceremony. ***NOTE: the start time is contingent upon judging time. If judging is not finished by 2:00pm then the Awards Ceremony will start later.
Registration will be on the third floor of the Thad Cochran Center (TCC) near the escalators. Drop-off to the ground floor entrance is on the north side of the TCC.
Competition Area will be on the third floor of the TCC. Project location maps will be available at the registration table and signs will help guide you.
Awards Ceremony will be held in the TCC in the same area as the competition.
